Hi *|FNAME|*,

Welcome to our October newsletter. The weather is starting to get better, the cricket season is just around the corner and Windows 11 is almost here. The official release date is the 5th of October, but should you upgrade or not? Check out our latest blog article for more details.

I have now been appointed the President of the Adelaide chapter of SMBiT Professionals. SMBiT Professionals is the industry association for Information Technology service providers specialising in small and medium businesses (SMB). I'm proud to have been nominated by fellow IT support providers to run their local chapter and be on their national board.

If you would like to catch up to discuss your IT needs or just for a chat, please let me know via phone (0412 973 503) or email (david@dpcomputing.com.au).

Cheers,
David Perkovic - david@dpcomputing.com.au

Out and About

During September we have been busy and some of the highlights include:

  • Paul, Ben and Sean returned to the Nullarbor Plains and installed a wireless network. This time they were at the lovely Nullarbor Roadhouse. As I write this they are still onsite and I will post more photos on our Facebook page shortly.
  • Thank you to Scott and all the team at Maxima Joblink for presenting DP Computing with the Maxima Recognition Award for 2021. We are all thankful and humble for receiving this award.
  • Staff have been busy installing some of the new Starlink internet services in southern Adelaide. In the next few weeks we are planning to do some more installs in Murray Bridge and Sydney.

Paul, Sean and Ben on their way to Nullarbor Roadhouse.

We needed to hire a truck as we had to take up all the new network and wireless equipment, networking cabling and over 300m of outdoor conduit!

More photos will be on our Facebook page shortly.
