Hi *|FNAME|*,

Welcome to our May newsletter. I hope you are doing well.

Until the end of the year we will be informing clients that a number of Microsoft products (Windows 7, MS Office 2010 and Windows Server 2008) are coming to End of Life (EOL) in January next year. Below we have included some links that talk further about this and what you as a business can do long term to prevent any potential issues. If you want to discuss this further please let me know.

DP Computing is a member of the SA Technology Collective and we are having some Social Business Drinks this Thursday, 2/5/19, at the Lonsdale Hotel from 4PM to 6PM. Come along, relax with some other business owners and the team from the SA Technology Collective.

I hope you have time to go through some of the articles below and if you have any feedback please let me know.

Regards
David Perkovic - david@dpcomputing.com.au

Out and About in May

April was a busy month with me doing a presentations to the Lonsdale Business Association and also the Genesis Network Group on Cybersecurity. We also installed a few wireless networks and attended an industry event at the Adelaide Convention Centre where we learnt more about Microsoft, Intel, Ubiquiti Wireless and Watchguard security.

Is Your Business Vulnerable in 2020?

Did you know that the life of Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and MS Office 2010 will be ending soon? These operating systems and Office suites were released a long time ago but are still widely used today. As with all good things, they must come to an end and Microsoft is pulling the plug on its aging software on January 14th, 2020.

We have developed some resources to help you understand what is happening and how your business can stay safe in 2020.
